Aquarium Field Trip
Big news, everybody! Sea the Change is taking students from Blue Mountain Elementary to the Denver Aquarium on May 4th.
We are so excited to be able to take the classes we've been working with all year to experience the aquarium. Students will not only have the opportunity to see hundreds of different marine animals, they will get a hands-on lesson with aquarium experts.
I have been working with the teachers and principal at Blue Mountain to make this goal happen and I am so excited to give these students the opportunity to fall in love with ocean as I have.
Currently, students and their families are responsible for paying a fee so that Sea the Change can take all 105 students to the aquarium. We are trying to partner with Pepsi to help sponsor students so that everyone gets the chance to see marine life up-close.
Again, I am ecstatic to take these kids to the aquarium. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity that I hope will inspire conservation and curiosity for the future of the ocean.
