January Update

Hi Everyone! We have a lot of exciting events and activities coming up over the next couple of weeks, and I wanted to let you all know what we have planned for the future.

To start things off, we are going to be organizing our next lesson plan with the students. The focus of this lesson is going to be the different ocean creatures, including vertebrates and invertebrates.

In addition, we are also going to be meeting with a lawyer to make Sea the Change a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization.

We are also going to be discussing the student questions that were asked at our previous lesson, with the panel, in hopes that the next set of students can ask even more questions, and we can continue to give the students even more ocean knowledge!

Over the next month, we also are working with our volunteers to aid in the implementation of Sea the Change at Altona Middle School, and continue spreading conservational values and ideas to the younger generation.

As a quick reminder, we are always welcoming new volunteers from all across the St. Vrain Valley School District.

Lastly, we are going to be scheduling the Denver Aquarium field trip for April 2018, with the elementary students, so that they can see the creatures up close and personal!

Stay tuned for more information, and from all of us at Sea the Change, we SHORE hope you have a great week!
