Making a Difference, One Wave at a Time
And Sea the Change is back again! I have to say, I'm kind of overwhelmed. This project is so exciting but also slightly stressful... there is so much to do!
So far, we have been successful in contacting Clearwater Marine Aquarium and getting more information about what they do as an organization. If you haven't heard of them, Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a marine mammal rescue and rehabilitation center that also aims to educate the public about ocean and marine life conservation. We got the opportunity to ask their Education team some questions via email correspondence, and it was awesome! More information to follow.
We are also amidst writing curriculum for one of the main center-focuses of the project. Hopefully, we will start working with elementary schools in the community, such as Blue Mountain Elementary and Eagle Crest Elementary.
There is lots to do and many big opportunities coming our way. Sea the Change is excited to connect with the local community and help inspire those around us, one wave at a time.
