MAKING WAVES ACROSS THE NATION

Sea the Change is amidst stage two of our launch project: reaching out to ocean conservation organizations across the nation. We are reaching out to UC Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay Aquarium in California, Shoals Laboratory, and have already successfully contacted Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

WORKING IN THE COMMUNITY

We had the amazing opportunity to work with Blue Mountain Elementary and Eagle Crest Elementary students to advocate for ocean awareness during the 2019-2020 school year. Students learned about conservation, food webs, types of sea animals and more. They were also in contact with Sea the Change's scientist panel throughout the year and loved working with the national science community. Interested in bringing Sea the Change to your classroom? WRITING CURRICULUM

Emma Pearson is currently writing class curriculum for Sea the Change to take to local elementary schools. She has worked with the head of the Environmental Science program at Silver Creek, Barbara Keith, along with marine scientists and conservation organizations from around the country and has been taking this class to schools in the community since 2016.
